What are we looking for:
The Legal Intern will work closely with the legal team to review, draft, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including but not limited to vendor contracts, partnership agreements, and NDAs. They will assist in ensuring compliance with industry regulations, data privacy laws, and corporate policies relevant to the AdTech sector.
Additionally, the intern will conduct in-depth legal research on emerging legal trends, regulatory updates, and case law affecting digital advertising and technology. They will also support the team in handling legal documentation, policy development, and risk assessment, contributing to the overall legal strategy of the company.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Review, draft, and negotiate agreements, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Insertion Orders (IOs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).
- Legal Research: Conduct research on advertising laws, data protection regulations, intellectual property rights, and other relevant legal topics.
- Compliance Support: Assist in ensuring company practices align with local and international laws, particularly concerning data privacy and advertising standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, finance, and operations teams to ensure contractual terms meet business objectives and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Holding a Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB)
- Additional Certifications (Good to Have, but Not Mandatory):
a. Contract Law (Harvard Online, Coursera, or similar)
b. Data Protection & Privacy Laws (GDPR, CCPA, DPDP Act)
c. Intellectual Property & Digital Media Law
